It's Been a Busy Week

Monday, I saw the Moth and the Flame at Bardot. Pay attention to these guys.

Tuesday, I watched some FNL.

Wednesday, I saw this gem of a film.

Thursday, I went on a 'nature walk' in the Santa Monica mountains.

Friday, my roommate and I had two friends over for dinner, we actually cooked food together for probably the first time in the nearly two years that we've lived together, and somehow a free bottle of vodka made it into her grocery bag. We used it as a centerpiece (we don't drink the stuff).

Somewhere in the week, I finished my taxes and ate from the Grilled Cheese Truck.

Today and tomorrow, I will  be watching General Conference.  You can, too. Right here.

Tomorrow, I will also be headed to Phoenix for a week.  Mostly to see Sigur Ros on Friday. It's gonna be amazing.  

More Stuff that Happened in January

This time, it was Colin's birthday!  We gathered at Bossa Nova and I chowed down on that really good chicken-wrapped bacon stuff that's smothered in a Gorgonzola cream sauce.

Recent birthday boy, Masato, was on hand to surpervise.

And then it was time for the long awaited Local Natives concert that sold out in a hot second. It was on the day their album dropped, and I was really happy to be there.

Superhumanoids opened, and I really liked their sound.  Looking forward to their album coming out soon!
