- I find North Korea really fascinating and am still bewildered over the recent Dennis Rodman visit. This girl took a trip as part of a delegation and detailed her whole Pyongyang experience.
- Web hoaxes are everywhere lately, and it's turned Taryn into an online detective. Read about her hoax exposures.
- Airport codes are dear to my heart. Someone put together these codes in a clever way.
- I would've liked to see this big swing exhibit in NYC!
- Jiro Dreams of Sushi was a great little film, and Questlove went to Japan to meet Mr. Jiro. Of course I had to start following him on Instagram.

I'm Alive!
Okay. It's March. I'm attempting to reclaim my life, and that includes updating this blog. Get ready for some short posts with lots of photos.
Okay - back to December....
Kim and Abe are two of my favorite people on earth. Abe and I grew up near each other near the Oklahoma/Arkansas border, and he's a major reason why I ended up at Georgetown. Kim and Abe met in DC, got married, and have two smart and funny little girls.
Kim is from San Diego, and they made a trip just before Christmas to spend some time on the west coast with her family. I made the drive south to have lunch and hang out with them for a few hours one day. It was a lovely time. I've missed them!
These girls crack me up.
Love them.
She played that duet way better than I did.
On my way home, I stopped by Disneyland. It was a tad cold, so we aimed for some indoor adventures that I didn't know existed, like the animation academy. Have I mentioned that I can't draw? Like, at all? Yikes!

Somehow I manged to draw something that mostly resembled the character. I'll have to try that again!
