So I'm playing around with Tumblr, thinking that it might be good for email blogging my trip, though I don't see why I can't do that with this site, too.
Anyone have any expertise? I think I'm getting old and don't understand this new micro-blogging thing.

I use Tumblr for different reasons than I use my blog. More often or not, my Tumblr posts have little to no thought behind them. I post pictures, and funny things that get shared with me at work, on Twitter, on blogs, etc. If it's really great and noteworthy, I'll do a post on my regular blog.
