Bastille Day - Macaron Time
I love sweets, it's no lie. One of my first tours after moving to LA was a little cupcake tasting at Vanilla Bake Shop, close by in Santa Monica. They're opening a store even closer to my house in Century City, so that's gonna rock. Even better, they post a little phrase frequently on Twitter that gets you a free baby cupcake.
Anyway. I went there and sampled. It's delicious stuff. And in honor of Bastille Day today, I think I may have to go get more macarons this afternoon in honor of the French. Célébrons!
