I've thought other people were crazy for doing the Whole30, yet I've somehow decided to try it. I'm on day 2 - totally rockin' it through the hangover days. Total headache this morning and looking at food made me wanna barf. Alas, I'm committed!
I've seen several friends complete this program over the last year, thanks to all their Instagram food posts. Meghan wanted to do it this summer and asked if I wanted to join, and I said no way. Somehow over the last few months I've decided to try it. What will happen when I eat super healthy and cut out sugar? I've never done anything like it before, and I've realized as I get older, I can't just eat whatever I want and expect working out to keep it off. Sugar makes me feel gross (as much as I love Dr Pepper and cookies).
I had a last couple 'indulge' meals over the weekend when Carol was in town, and I spent the weekend stocking up on good eats and using my slow cooker to get a few meals planned for the week. We'll see how this goes.
